Above posted setup works well, just make sure its a 7.5k scram. The 20k version will suck down too much cap. And its not worth investing in t2/named mods as you'll get popped quite a bit.

Not to mention there is more to a weapon than dps. Like optimal and falloff, which are greatly in favor of bigger guns. Of course the tracking is better on smaller guns though
